Following World War I, Gorje becomes part of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes (later Yugoslavia).
After World War II, Gorje is integrated into socialist Yugoslavia, with significant modernization and development.
Slovenia declares independence, and Gorje becomes part of the new nation, retaining its local traditions.
Gorje is established as an independent municipality, separating from the Municipality of Bled.
