History
Archaeological finds indicate prehistoric settlement in the Vojnik area, with evidence of habitation from the Late Bronze Age.
The first documented mention of Vojnik appears in medieval records as part of the Duchy of Styria.
Vojnik’s parish church, dedicated to St. Bartholomew, is constructed and becomes a center of community life.
