Weather

The best time to visit is during the dry seasons (December–February, June–August) when roads are most accessible and outdoor activities are more enjoyable.
Health
Health services are basic, with Apac General Hospital as the main facility. Carry essential medications and use bottled or filtered water.
Food
Malakwang
A traditional Lango dish made from hibiscus leaves stewed with groundnut (peanut) paste, typically served with millet bread or posho.
Sim-sim Balls
Sweet snacks made from roasted sesame seeds mixed with honey or sugar, shaped into bite-sized balls, popular at local markets.
Boo and Onyewa
A dish combining boo (jute mallow leaves) and onyewa (white ants), often cooked together during the rainy season and served with staple starches.
