Storia
Praia da Costa's origins date back to the arrival of Vasco Fernandes Coutinho, who reserved land there known as Fazenda da Costa.
Initially dominated by mangroves, the area became more accessible after the construction of a bridge over the Costa River in 1885.
In 1892, JoĂŁo Joaquim da Motta purchased much of the land, leading to its subdivision and urban development.
The neighborhood experienced significant growth following the inauguration of the Terceira Ponte, which improved access to the state capital VitĂłria and northern EspĂrito Santo, fostering its rise as a prime residential and tourist area.
