Histoire
Constructed on the site of the former Kings Park Soccer Stadium, Moses Mabhida Stadium was completed in November 2009 in preparation for the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
Originally designed with a capacity of 62,760 for the World Cup, it was built with adjustable seating to accommodate various event sizes.
The iconic arch was inspired by the South African flag, symbolizing unity after years of division.
Since its opening, the stadium has hosted major international sports tournaments including the 2010 FIFA World Cup and the 2013 African Cup of Nations, as well as concerts and community events.
