River Wonders, formerly known as River Safari, is a unique river-themed zoo and aquarium located in Mandai, Singapore. It is part of the Mandai Wildlife Reserve, which also includes the Singapore Zoo, Night Safari, and Bird Paradise. Covering 12 hectares, it is Asia's first park dedicated to freshwater ecosystems and features a variety of river habitats from around the world. History

2007

The concept of River Wonders began in 2007, initially named River Safari, with construction announced in 2009 and completed by late 2011.

2012

The park opened its Giant Panda Forest in November 2012 and officially welcomed visitors in February 2014, quickly attracting over a million visitors.

2021

In October 2021, the park was renamed River Wonders to better reflect its focus on river ecosystems within the Mandai Wildlife Reserve.

Pavilion Capital Giant Panda Forest2012

A 1500-square-metre climate-controlled habitat designed to simulate the natural environment of giant pandas. Home to the panda couple Kai Kai and Jia Jia, and red pandas. Visitors can observe daily bamboo preparation by the staff.

A scenic boat ride showcasing South American river animals including collared peccaries, jaguars, capybaras, and various monkey species. It offers an immersive river safari experience.
