Torsby Finnskogscentrum, located in Lekvattnet in Torsby municipality, is a Swedish exhibition and cultural center dedicated to the Forest Finnish culture of Värmland. Opened in June 2014, it is part of the Värmland Museum and collaborates with Torsby municipality. The center is housed in a former school building redesigned by the Bornstein Lyckefors architectural firm in Gothenburg, featuring 2,000 square meters of space. The building consists of two wings arranged at an angle; the western wing contains exhibition halls and a library set in former classrooms, while the eastern wing utilizes the old gymnasium as a multipurpose hall or exhibition space. A striking external feature is a palisade made of 300 logs that extends beyond the black-painted outer walls. The permanent exhibition at the center highlights the Forest Finnish culture, including traditional slash-and-burn agriculture, smoke saunas, birch bark crafts, as well as the language and cultural expressions of this unique community.
