The dam stands 58.5 meters above its foundation with a crest length of 1005 meters. It creates a reservoir with a total capacity of approximately 114.3 million cubic meters and a useful capacity of 10.4 million cubic meters, covering an area of about 7.32 square kilometers at full storage level. The dam features a spillway on the right bank without control gates and a bottom outlet controlled by sector and wagon gates. It plays a vital role in regional water management, flood control, and possibly irrigation.
