Histoire
Jugendstilsenteret is housed in the former Svaneapoteket building, constructed between 1905 and 1907 following the devastating Ă…lesund fire of 1904.
Designed by architect Hagbarth Martin Schytte-Berg, it was the first Art Nouveau building in Ă…lesund to be officially protected, gaining listed status in 1984.
