1992

Sunway Lagoon began operations on 24 October 1992 and was officially inaugurated on 29 April 1993 by Malaysia's then Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad.

2007

Originally comprising a water park, amusement park, and wildlife park, it expanded in 2007 to include the Extreme Park and Wildlife Interactive Zoo.

2008

The Scream Park was added in 2008 in collaboration with Lynton V.

2013

Over the years, the park has introduced major attractions such as the Vuvuzela waterslide in 2013 and the Nickelodeon Lost Lagoon in 2016.

1997

Despite a tragic accident in 1997 involving the Runaway Train roller coaster, the park has maintained a strong safety record and continuous development.
