Goce DelÄŤev Square is the principal public square located in Strumica, in the southeastern region of North Macedonia. Covering an expansive area of 23,485 square meters, it ranks among the largest city squares in the country. The square honors the revolutionary figure Goce DelÄŤev, whose monument was erected in the 1970s and remains a central feature. In 2010, the square underwent a significant reconstruction transforming it into a two-level space: the first level houses an underground road junction and parking facilities, while the upper level is an open pedestrian zone adorned with statues, buildings, and decorative elements. Notable features include the monument "StrumiÄŤanka pod maska" (Strumica Woman Under a Mask), funded by the International Art Colony, and a clock tower donated by Adora Engineering. A copper star was once placed in the center to commemorate footballer Goran Pandev's achievements in 2010 but was stolen in 2018. The square was officially reopened on December 10, 2010, coinciding with the eve of Strumica's patron saint day, symbolizing its cultural and communal significance.

Histoire
Goce DelÄŤev Square was originally centered around the monument to the revolutionary Goce DelÄŤev, built in the 1970s.
Over time, the square was modest in size until a major reconstruction was undertaken in 2010, funded by the Municipality of Strumica with approximately 3.5 million euros.
This renovation expanded the square into a two-level urban space, adding an underground road junction and parking, and revitalizing the upper pedestrian area.
The square was officially reopened on December 10, 2010, just before Strumica's patron saint day, marking a new era in its communal role.
