Histoire
Tahko Ski Resort was established in the late 1960s by Kalevi Keihänen, Urpo Lahtinen, and Jörn Donner, initially developing ski slopes and a lodge.
The first hotel, Hotel Tahkovuori, opened in 1971, followed by Hotel Ukkotahko in 1972.
Ownership and management changed multiple times through the 1980s and 1990s, with significant investments in facilities like the Tahko-Areena equestrian center, golf courses, and nightlife venues.
In 2005, the Tahko Spa sports center was completed, enhancing the resort's year-round appeal.
