In the 1880s, Kalle rebuilt the residence after a fire, establishing the main building with traditional architecture.

1903

His son Aukusti continued the ranger duties from 1903, expanding the farm and adapting forestry regulations in 1909 to emphasize forest ranger responsibilities.

1956

The farm remained in the Lönngrén family through successive generations, with Aarne Lönngrén witnessing the establishment of Liesjärvi National Park in 1956, which incorporated Korteniemi to preserve cultural landscapes.

1915

The site was restored to its 1915-1920s condition after becoming uninhabited in 1996, preserving its historical integrity and traditional practices.
