Histoire
Fårup Summer Park was founded on June 21, 1975, by Anders Kragelund, who transitioned from a wholesale business to amusement park entrepreneurship.
Initially modest with only a few children's rides and 40,000 visitors, the park expanded steadily through the 1980s, adding many new attractions and a water park in 1989.
The 2000s saw the addition of multiple roller coasters, including Falken in 2004, Lynet in 2008, and Orkanen in 2013, the latter being the only coaster in the Nordic region to run partly underwater.
In 2016, the park expanded with Hotel Fårup.
The latest major investment was the opening of Fønix in 2022, Denmark's tallest and fastest coaster, marking the park's largest single investment to date.
