Histoire
The Museum of Vasil Levski was founded in 1954 in the house of Ivan Krachula in the Drastene neighborhood of Lovech.
Initially, it focused on Levski's life and activities during his time in Lovech.
Due to the growing collection and interest, a new building was constructed near the Church of the Holy Virgin, opening its second exhibition in 1967.
