Histoire
The Komitas Museum-Institute was officially founded by the Armenian government on 24 July 2014, replacing the old house of culture in Komitas Park.
Construction was funded by the Pyunik and Luys foundations, and the building was designed by Arthur Meschian.
The museum opened on 29 January 2015, inaugurated by prominent figures including President Serzh Sargsyan and the Catholicoi of All Armenians and Cilicia.
