Missouri
Lake of the Ozarks State Park is the largest state park in Missouri, located on the Grand Glaize Arm of the Lake of the Ozarks. The park features 85 miles of shoreline along the lake, which itself has over 1,150 miles of mostly privately owned shoreline. Visitors can enjoy two sandy swimming beaches, twelve hiking trails traversing woodlands, glades, and blufftop views, as well as the unique Ozark Caverns. The park provides ample opportunities for boating with paved ramps and boat rentals, fishing for species like catfish, crappie, and bass, and equestrian activities with stables and trail access. Accommodations include campsites, cabins, and yurts, allowing for year-round stays amidst natural beauty.
