Bird Paradise, opened in May 2023, is a sprawling 17-hectare aviary located in Mandai, Singapore, that replaced the former Jurong Bird Park. It is part of the Mandai Wildlife Reserve, which includes the Singapore Zoo, Night Safari, River Wonders, and Rainforest Wild. The park features eight large thematic walk-through aviaries, each designed to replicate distinct biomes from around the world, showcasing over 3,500 birds from more than 400 species. Notable exhibits include the Penguin Cove, one of the world's largest simulated Antarctic habitats, and the Winged Sanctuary, home to endangered tropical birds such as the Philippine eagle. History
Jurong Bird Park was announced for closure in 2016 to consolidate Singapore’s wildlife parks into the Mandai Wildlife Reserve.
The bird collection was relocated to the newly built Bird Paradise in Mandai, which opened to the public on 8 May 2023 after delays caused by construction challenges and the COVID-19 pandemic.
This move integrated the bird park with other wildlife attractions, enhancing visitor experience and conservation efforts in a unified nature district.

A two-level exhibit simulating Antarctic conditions with cold saltwater pools for king, gentoo, humboldt, and northern rockhopper penguins. Features underwater viewing galleries and a windswept beach area for roosting and nesting.
Winged Sanctuary2023
A large aviary housing over 20 species of hornbills and endangered tropical birds like the Philippine eagle and Palawan peacock-pheasant. The aviary is densely planted and enclosed with steel mesh screens.

A continuation from the former Jurong Bird Park, this aviary features numerous species of parrots and cockatoos, including a large breeding population of blue-eyed cockatoos.
