Kasu Brahmananda Reddy National Park, located in the heart of Hyderabad's Jubilee Hills and Banjara Hills, spans approximately 390 acres and serves as a vital green lung for the city. Established as a national park in 1998, it was once part of the Nizam's palace complex, including the Chiran Palace, a modern villa built in 1940. The park is home to over 600 plant species, 140 bird species, and 30 varieties of butterflies and reptiles, providing a diverse habitat for wildlife such as pangolins, small Indian civets, jungle cats, peacocks, and porcupines. The presence of water bodies supports the park's flora and fauna, creating a thriving ecosystem. Visitors enjoy the tranquility and natural beauty, making it a popular retreat from urban pollution. The park's location amidst Hyderabad's upscale neighborhoods makes it accessible and cherished by locals and tourists alike.
