歴史
The first church on the site was a wooden cruciform building erected in 1662, located slightly north of the current cathedral.
This original church was heavily renovated in 1841-42 but was destroyed by fire in 1885 after a cannon salute accident.
It was replaced by a neo-Gothic wooden church designed by Henrik Nissen in 1887.
This church was destroyed during the German bombing of Molde in 1940.
