History
The Monte Baldo Cable Car was originally constructed in 1962 to connect Malcesine with the alpine area of Monte Baldo, facilitating access to mountain trails and ski slopes.
In 2002, the cable car was entirely rebuilt by the company Hölzl of Lana, modernizing the system with new cabins and improved infrastructure.
The two-section design allows for a gradual ascent from the lakeside to the mountain pass, overcoming a total elevation gain of approximately 1650 meters.
