History
The Enzo Ferrari Museum was inaugurated on March 10, 2012 by the Fondazione Casa di Enzo Ferrari-Museo, established in 2003 to preserve Modena's automotive history.
The project was designed by architect Jan Kaplický, completed by his assistant Andrea Morgante after Kaplický's passing.
Construction began in 2009 and included restoring Enzo Ferrari's birthplace and workshop.
The museum spans 5,000 square meters, with 3,000 dedicated to exhibition and public spaces.
It was built with environmental sustainability in mind, featuring geothermal heating and water recycling.
