2004

Ilon's Wonderland originated from Ilon Wikland's 2004 decision to donate her original book illustrations to the Estonian state.

The Läänemaa Museum in Haapsalu provided a building at Kooli 5 to exhibit these works, leading to the opening of Ilon Wikland's gallery in 2006.

2009
