歴史
The Blagaj Tekke was built around 1520, shortly after the Ottoman Empire established control over Herzegovina.
Initially managed by the Bektashi order, it later became a hub for the Halveti Sufi order in the 18th century following renovations by Mostar's mufti Zijaudin Ahmed-ibn-Mustafe.
The Tekke suffered damage multiple times due to rockslides, with significant restorations ordered in 1851 by Omer Pasha Latas.
After extensive studies in the 1950s, the site underwent careful restoration to preserve its original features.
The Tekke ceased active religious functions in 1925 but was preserved by cultural institutions, later returned to the Islamic community in the 1970s.
It was declared a national monument in 2003 and has since been maintained as a cultural and historical treasure.

Musafirhana (Guesthouse)16th century
The musafirhana is a multi-level building with a basement, ground floor, and upper floor. It includes the hajat (covered porch) with a wooden balcony (londža) that extends over the Buna River. The basement rooms are partially embedded in the rock, while the ground floor consists of four irregular rooms with stone walls and wooden ceilings. The kitchen features a raised fireplace with a wide chimney, typical for the period.
Turbe (Mausoleum)16th century
The turbe is the mausoleum within the complex, housing the tombs of significant religious figures associated with the Tekke. It features traditional Ottoman architectural elements and is part of the spiritual heart of the monastery.
