Historia
The Venclauskiai House was constructed in 1926 as a luxurious residential building designed by Karolis Reisonas, exemplifying interwar Lithuanian historicism architecture.
In 1991, Gražbylė and Danutė Venclauskaitės generously donated their family home to the Šiauliai Aušros Museum with the stipulation that it remain open to the public as a museum.
The building was restored in 2019 with financial support from the European Union Regional Development Fund and the Lithuanian state budget, adapting it for multifunctional museum use and ensuring accessibility for all visitors.
