Aviodrome, located at Lelystad Airport in the Netherlands, is the country's largest aerospace museum. It offers visitors an immersive journey through aviation history with a collection of over 100 unique aircraft, including iconic models such as the Boeing 747-200, Fokker planes, and replicas like the Wright Flyer. The museum features multiple buildings including a main hall with most exhibits, a replica of the 1928 Schiphol terminal, and a hangar dedicated to jet engine and fighter history. It also houses a space collection with artifacts from Dutch and international programs, such as the backup Astronomical Netherlands Satellite and a model of the Huygens probe. Aviodrome combines education and entertainment with interactive simulators, a 4D cinema, and themed exhibitions, making it engaging for both children and adults. The museum experienced a temporary closure due to bankruptcy in 2011 but reopened in 2012 under new management, continuing its mission to celebrate Dutch aviation heritage and inspire visitors.
