Oršić Castle is a baroque castle located in the Municipality of Gornja Stubica, Krapina-Zagorje County, northwestern Croatia. Built in 1756 by Croatian count Krsto Oršić on the site of a medieval fortress, it features an L-shaped ground plan with arcades on the backyard side and a simple exterior with rhythmically aligned windows. Following a 19th-century earthquake, a classicist porch with Doric columns was added. The interior includes a well-preserved chapel adorned with illusionist murals and a baroque altar. The castle served as the feudal residence of the Oršić family until 1924. Later, it housed a primary school and a local cooperative society. In the late 1960s and early 1970s, it was renovated and transformed into the Museum of the Peasants' Revolt, dedicated to the tragic 1573 uprising in the region. Surrounding the castle is a park featuring a large monument to the Peasants' Revolt and its leader Matija Gubec, created by renowned Croatian sculptor Antun Augustinčić. The castle is a protected cultural monument and an important symbol of Croatian history and baroque architecture.
